Your old CDs and DVDs are valuable. Depending on how well you sort the plastics, approximately €0.05 to €0.20 per kilo, in large quantities sometimes even more.

In this way, we can help you, or your music association, football club, church choir or billiards team make money, by collecting CDs and DVDs. Even the covers and trays can be reused as raw materials.

Thousands, maybe even millions of damaged, broken, torn or unusable CDs and DVDs are lying about in our country, which could be recycled. It is a waste to throw them away.

If you simply throw them away, they will be incinerated. In our opinion, this is not an option. As everyone will know, one day the supply of mineral oil will come to an end, and plastic is made from mineral oil.

At our plant, the plastics (polycarbonate, polypropylene and polystyrene) are separated and then returned to raw materials.

The separated plastics are shredded and ground at HOETRA Recycling, after which all information on the CDs and DVDs is also gone.
